Judith Zeichner is an artist in Kerhonkson, New York who has been painting and exhibiting for over fifty years. She works in the tradition of American modernist figurative painters such as Fairfield Porter and Milton Avery. Her work is loved by many collectors and was prominently featured in the Jane Fonda film Peace, Love and Misunderstanding. She is also a highly respected teacher and was commissioned to tutor Ms. Fonda for her acclaimed role as a painter.

"A question often asked of me is, do you ever work from photos? My answer is never. Many artists use them, but for me they are too fixed. And that's odd since my dad designed cameras."
